The second one. Well each week I go into add the next blog to the website and the number of unique visitors to the website is proudly displayed. This usually is around 160 per week. But this week its gone up to 373. That is a lot and can only be down to last week's blog about the Bowls Scotland course that we were on. That is definitely a record for the website. Bowls Scotland had sent out the blog on their Facebook page and reached 1396 people. Again for us super stuff.
And then there is the grounding moment. On Sunday Aberdeen are meeting Celtic in the League Cup Final. As usual our club is a great a location for visiting football fans and this weekend is no different. So with the club fully booked we were in full flow to entertain Scott and his party of Aberdeen fans. However Mother Nature has had other ideas. This week has been baltic and although freezing temperatures are good for the green, they are rubbish for pipes. On Friday afternoon I got a call from Kathy saying the water was off and thought the pipes were frozen. Since then we have had the heating on full blast. I have roped in a few extra heaters and even had a go at the external pipe with a blow lamp to see if that could free it up. But after the day of trying still no joy. With no running water the club would need to stay closed. However the weather smiled on us and the pipes thawed out. I had left a few taps on and it was great relief to hear the water running when i came into the club this morning. We are so proud what we have to offer and it was great to have Scott and his party here. They were the easiest to deal with and even bought a few Hampden tops to take home.
Enjoy the pics. Hope the final is a great event. The warm up at the First Hampden was great!
Cheers
