Ok here is a lesson in IT. Always copy the text before you hit publish. I used to do that but tonight I decided that it had worked so well the last few times that I didn't need to. As soon as I hit the publish button I was confronted by the circle of death. That spinning icon that says rather ironically "loading - please wait". How many times does it happen. Not very often - let the guard down and there you have it. A blog lost forever. Therefore this week's edition is going to be a wee bit shorter than planned. So here is the abbreviated version. Straight to the point shall we say.
There was success this week for the Triples that we sent out in the GBA competition this week. After being 8-2 down they fought their way back to a 14-13 victory. This was a great win and we're hoping that they have further success in the competition. There were other players and teams out this week but were up against strong opposition. Its great to see the club being represented.
We had 49 fans from Craigentinny Bowling Club yesterday for a historic day. Two hoodoos were broken. One for Hibernian with their first victory in 114 years in the Scottish Cup final but the other that visiting fans to our club went home with the trophy. They had a great day. I'm so pleased that Kenny, Darren and all the others had such a grand day. And it was sunny.
It was the last game of the footy season. We have had fans from Dundee Utd, Peterhead, Other Hibs fans, Tartan Army fans etc. The Club is doing really well at these now and are full houses. Its great to see and provides the club with additional income.
On the club front each week I am getting enquiries about the club which is great to see. Lets hope that turns into members. The banners around the club are doing particularly well.
All the best for another week. I have copied the text this time!!
Cheers
